Who We Are and What We Do

Integer-Business was established in 2013, initially to provide UK Tax services to individuals resident in Australia.

Our UK Tax Services may be of use to you if:

1. you are a UK national arriving in Australia and needing to prepare a UK Tax Return or to finalise your UK tax affairs;
2. you are a UK national resident in Australia with an income from UK assets (for example, rental income from UK property) and need to prepare and submit a UK Tax Return;
3. you are an Australian citizen previously resident in the UK, but now resident in Australia and you either wish to finalise your UK Tax affairs or you have ongoing income from UK assets (for example, rental income from a UK property).;
4. you are an Australian resident and you are selling a property in the UK and need to finalise your UK Capital Gains Tax position, arrange for the submission of a Non-Resident's Capital Gains Tax Return, and arrange for the details of the transaction to be included in your UK Tax Return. Please note that if this is the case, then you need to contact us as soon as possible as there is now a deadline of 60 days from completion date for notification of the sale to HM Revenue and Customs.

About our principal, Andrew Robinson

Integer-Business was established by Andrew Robinson, a UK Chartered Accountant who relocated to Australia with his family in 2011.

Andrew was born in Melbourne, Australia, but moved with his family to the UK and, subsequently, to other European countries, before returning to the UK in 1983. Having graduated from University in 1986, Andrew started his accounting career at Hazlewoods, Cheltenham in 1987. Moving to the North West of England, he trained as a Chartered Accountant with a newly formed firm, Hanley & Co, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1992.

Andrew then held various positions at a number of accounting firms in the North West of England before establishing AJ Robinson & Co in 1999, a general accounting practice set up to offer a wide range of accounting and taxation services to individuals and small to medium sized businesses throughout the North of England.

Services offered included accounting services for all types of business entities, taxation compliance for individuals, partnerships and limited companies, Bookkeeping and VAT services, Payroll, Company Formations and Company Secretarial Services, Business Start up services, dealing with Tax Enquiries, and Consulting services.

AJ Robinson & Co was sold in 2011 when Andrew moved to Australia with his family.

More About What We Do

Since its establishment in 2013, Integer-Business has continued to focus on providing UK Tax services, but, since 2016, has also offered other services, such as:

1. Financial and Management Accounting services for small and medium sized businesses.
2. Consulting services (general business consulting and financial consulting).
3. Australian Payroll Services.
4. A forward thinking bookkeeping service, based on the use of technology to automate the process as much as possible.
5. Business Start Up Services.
6. Data Analysis services.

Please note that we do not operate as an Australian Tax Agent. Our involvement with your Australian Tax affairs is usually limited to provision of schedules (for example foreign rental income or self employed income and expenditure from a business).
